It's been a long time since I've written...

schedule for the fall:
accounting: 10-11:50 Mon,Wed & 10-10:50 Fri
spanish: 10-11:50 Tue,Thu & 11-11:50 Fri
eastern world religions: 12-1:25 Tue,Thu
abnormal psychology: online
kickboxing: 6:30-7:50 Mon,Wed
ballet: 5-6:20 Tue,Thu

It's 20 units, so it'll be a lot of work, but they're pretty easy classes. Two of the units are phys ed classes. I know a lot about accounting already, because it's what my mom does for a living. I've taken spanish before. I'm re-taking the last level I took because it's been three years since I took it last, so it should be just a refresher course. I've also taken abnormal psychology before at Foothill. I failed it last time, but that was for reasons beyond my control. First, the coordinator of our group project screwed us when he decided to stop calling people back. So I ended up with no group project. Also, my teacher's tests are insanely difficult (and she admitted that to my face). I don't think there was a single "A" in the whole class of 35. Half of them dropped after the first midterm. Anyway, the point is that the fact that it's 20 units doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be harder than my 14 units from last quarter.

Besides that, I have a job doing data entry work for a lawyer. She's one of my mom's clients, but I'm going to be taking over a bunch of the work. I'm getting paid $12 an hour and I can work from home and set my own hours. Plus I actually enjoy the work. Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Sounds better than doing a job I hate on someone else's schedule and getting paid minimum wage.

I'm getting a laptop! I've ordered one of those custom-made ones and had it built with everything I want...including a cd burner and a dvd player. Finally, I can burn my own cds instead of begging my friends. Also, it's going to be very handy when I go to Australia next quarter. I'm spending at least the winter quarter there, and maybe the spring quarter as well. I'm still going to be enrolled at Foothill, but all my classes will be online. It'll be loads of fun. ^__^ Plus it's getting away from my mother. Yay yay yay.
